What is Jungian Analysis?
Jungian analysis is also known as Analytical Psychology.
Dr. Carl Jung was concerned with the whole person. He placed special emphasis on dreams and the imagination as ways to find the true self. Many of us suffer from an imbalance in our lives, which makes us feel we are not in control. This is because we are out of touch with ourselves. Jungian analysis aims to redress this imbalance and bring us back in touch with our true selves. Jung called this the journey of Individuation.
As well as bringing us into touch with our true selves and enhancing our creativity, we become more comfortable and successful in the world. We develop a deeper sense of connection with ourselves in our personal and social relationships, and this helps us make better choices.
In-depth analysis may mean meeting the analyst for several sessions each week. I offer such intensive therapy courses as well as once-weekly sessions.
